The results of some machine learning. The audio data gets compressed into 2 dimensions, which is then plotted. Each point is an instance in time. The red points are good cuts, and the blue points are bad cuts. Basically, we trained a neural net to identify chatter!

Bandsaw fun.
We noticed the downside to the bandsaw is that the clamp won't work on short peices. So I had to get creative with how to hold this short aluminum piece. I used parallel bars and another piece of stock on the other end, worked like a charm!
Made a tilt plate for mounting the touch off plate. Unfortunately it doesn't work as well as we hoped. The springs are not enough to return the plate to the exact location every time. There is also a clearance fit between the bolts and the plate, which introduces some wobble.
Back to the drawing board!
