From a young age, I knew events was the path I wanted to follow. With hospitality in my bones, I was always gathering friends, planning menus, setting tables, curating playlists, and creating spaces where stories could be shared. For me, events have always been about gathering with intention and storytelling.

I took every opportunity I could to learn from those in the industry - volunteering, interning, visiting venues and event sites in every city I travelled to, and working across different sectors. Each experience taught me so much about the moments we create and the impact they can have on something much bigger.

The power of business events and tourism is larger than many know. The sector supports economic growth, community development, and human connection.

I’ve learned so much throughout my journey thus far, and being invited to share some of that insight with the next generation was such an honor.

The ask: a program that was simple, meaningful, aligned with corporate values and relevant to the destination ✅

Our nature summer camp kits for Banff brought so much joy to attendees (and to us too). These kits will be distributed to local families facing financial difficulties, and sending young children to camps through the Town of Banff.

Here’s why it matters - their programming gives kids something screens and classrooms can’t: immersive, flexible time in nature where they learn by doing. Outdoors, children build confidence and independence navigating new environments, making friends, and solving problems, together.

Camps foster social skills, teamwork, and empathy through shared responsibilities and community experiences. Most importantly, time in the natural world creates lasting memories and cultivates environmental awareness and stewardship, shaping lifelong respect for the outdoors. We’re thrilled to be a small part of it 💚
