Many parts of Canada are rich with resources. There are large homes, lots of food, great education, and more. However, not every place in Canada enjoys these privileges. Many northern communities have terrible conditions, overcrowding, poor access to food and supplies, and low rates of education because of some of Canada's colonial past.
TEMS Academy is partnering with the Childcare Centre in Gjoa Haven, Nunavut, to help raise funds for the resources that children in this northern community need.

Literature is something that can help one to understand themself better. These authors are ones that Ontario students will study throughout their time in secondary school, but the lessons that they teach are just important for educators to bear in mind as they are for students.

TEMS teachers want to ensure that students are meeting their curricular objectives, while also fulfilling their duty to themselves; to find joy. We work with our learners to teach them strategies for success, so that regardless of course content our students are developing skills that will help them be successful in life. TEMS offers not only educational services, but also a team that works with students and families to faciliate longterm growth and success.
