The Canadian Independent Bookstore Day Bookstore Crawl is back on Saturday April 25, 2026!

Our crawl returns for year two, and this time, Hopeless Romantic Bookshop and Little Ghosts Books are joining the lineup!

Pick up your passport on Saturday, April 25th at any participating store and start exploring. Visit each shop to collect a stamp, then leave your passport at the final store on your route to be entered into a draw.

Visit 3 out of 5 stores for a chance to win a $20 gift card or complete all 5 for a chance to win a $50 gift card to the bookstore you leave your passport at. No purchase is required to participate.

Every stop will have something a little different going on, so check each store's Instagram to plan your route and make the most of the day!

Part of the adventure will include waiting in line at peak times. Canadian Independent Bookstore Day is one of the busiest days of the year for independent bookstores, and many of us have small storefronts with limited capacity, so lines are a normal part of the day across participating shops. We recommend building in a little extra time and flexibility as you make your way through the crawl!
