People keep asking me what i'm going to do now.

The thing is, that SO much has changed, but I am the same. I was worried that The Root Cellar WAS my identity and that I might lose my way without it; that by setting the Root Cellar free that i'd be flung into a reinvention of myself.

But The Root Cellar is NOT my identity, it is a byproduct of my identity. It is a mark we have left on the community that we are incredibly proud of, now in the hands of people we love and respect, and TRUST.

As for me... i am excited to spend a hot second nourishing my nervous system, then inevitably finding new things to point my passions at. I suspect this might mean i'm quiet for a bit. Being an entrepreneur means you never fully unplug, same for being a parent... i might try it out. Fortune favours the brave an all. XO

Do not mistake that i 'feel free' with the idea that i was NOT free before, i loved every second of our almost 18 years with The Root Cellar; it's not about celebrating being free of what we released, but about celebrating the freedom and growth that comes with change.
