National Red Dress Day 2025 — Canada

Today, we honour the lives of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit people (MMIWG2S).

The red dress has become a powerful symbol of remembrance, resistance, and a call for justice. On this day, we wear red, we speak their names, and we commit to listening, learning, and taking action to end the violence.

Let us stand together in solidarity with Indigenous communities—because every life matters, and every voice deserves to be heard.
