Meet Bryn, one of the driven Development Managers at Abstract.
Spending the first four years of his career in a local architecture studio made the transition into the development world a good fit for Bryn. He joined the Abstract Team in 2021 as a Development Coordinator and quickly excelled, working his way up to a Development Manager role where his architectural background has proven to be an invaluable asset to the team.
In his current role, Bryn’s design expertise helps him find creative solutions to complex challenges. He is currently leading the development of Oak & Stone, a six-storey condominium in the Shelbourne Valley that recently completed framing — an exciting milestone for both Bryn and the project. Other projects on the go are in the rezoning/development permit phase.
Known for being collaborative, approachable, and hardworking, Bryn brings a thoughtful and steady presence to every project he’s involved in. Around the office, he’s also earned a reputation as a great chef — taking home the title last year in Abstract’s 9th annual Halloween Chili Cookoff.
When asked about his favourite part of working for Abstract, Bryn said, “It would be remiss of me to not mention the amazing team at Abstract. Although the job comes with stress, we all manage to find a moment for a good laugh. Aside from that, one of my favourite things about working at Abstract is the Team’s attention to detail. Abstract really cares about creating true ‘homes’ for people and the little decisions that impact a homeowner’s experience.”
