IUD insertion pain is real, significant, and preventable. Yet many patients are offered little to no pain relief, and the quality of care depends far too often on individual provider training or geographic location.
Our message is clear: Not just a pinch: Pain relief is not a luxury, it’s a right! Tell your MLA today!

Your "responsibility" sounds a lot more like reproductive coercion...
Zero Pharmacare agreements have been signed since took office. With the first phase of the national Pharmacare plan (Bill C-64) promising free prescription contraception and diabetes medication and supplies, this policy could be transformative.
A Canadian's ability to access life-saving and life-changing medicine should not depend on their incomes and their postal codes, but this is the unfortunate reality in the face of inaction by the Carney government.
We need actual leadership on Pharmacare. We need a federal government that is actively negotiating agreements with outstanding jurisdictions, and is committed to not only funding these agreements moving forward, but actively working to expand pharmacare beyond free diabetes medication and supplies and prescription contraception.
