Great Start to Friday Morning Swims!

Nearly 40 swimmers hit the waters of Thetis Lake this past Friday to begin the open water season. The water temperature was a pleasant 18C (the warmest starting temperature in many years) and it was great to be back in the open water in the beautiful surroundings of Thetis Lake.

You are invited to join in next Friday!
Here's how...

- Every Friday morning (until early September), 7:30am arrival, 7:45am in the water
- Location: Thetis Lake, Main Beach
- Season Pass: $75 (click below) or $10 drop-in on site (cash)
- Bonus for early Season Pass Purchasers: A bright swim cap for the open water
- An On-line Waiver signing is also required (once for the season)

All swimmers are welcome, whether an individual swimmer or a member of a local swim or triathlon program. Swimmers should be comfortable in open water and able to swim continuously with comfortable breathing (speed is not required). Wetsuits are recommended for May and June.
