The Canadian government is currently accepting feedback for the first-ever national strategy to address environmental racism and advance environmental justice. Join in on a community consultation to help shape it!

Learn more about environmental racism and its impacts, the draft strategy, and solutions to advocate for to ensure the needs and perspectives of the communities most impacted by environmental hazards are taken into consideration. Includes a facilitated letter-writing activity to give voice to concerns and recommendations for the government. No prior background knowledge or experience required! Open to the public.

🏹 Robin Hood Opera + Photography Exhibition 🏹

Pacific Opera Victoria’s Youth Summer Performance Program presents Robin Hood, a fully staged, spirited 55-minute opera by Ben Moore and Kelley Rourke. Featuring talented, local performers ages 8–18, alongside professional artists, this lively retelling of the classic legend is filled with adventure, humour, music, and heart: a fun and memorable experience for audiences of all ages.

In addition, audiences can also enjoy Trees: Celebrating Gaia, a unique, 3-dimensional fine art installation (in the lower lobby area), featuring the premiere of more than 30 black & white and colour images by award-winning Victoria, BC photographers Blair Ketcheson and Frances Litman. There will also be presentation tables celebrating trees and ecological diversity, in partnership with Climate and the Arts, and the Habitat Acquisition Trust (HAT).
