This Wednesday! Join the Legacy Art Galleries and Open Space Arts Society for an evening of conversation and reflection connected to the ongoing exhibition Shux Shux and the Island. Offsite programming, Wednesday, June 10 at 6pm at the Mungo Martin House (475 Belleville St.).

This gathering brings together Nadine Spence, Tiffany Joseph, Dahlila Charlie, and Krystal Hunt in discussion on Indigenous resurgence, community relationships, artistic practice, and the ongoing work of carrying teachings across generations.

Tomorrow's Social Friday will focus on the engagement pieces of Shux Shux and the Island, one of which is writing letters to the artists and depositing them in the bundle bags located near each artists’ work.

Social Friday is 4-6pm on May 29th. Shux Shux and the Island is on now until June 20, 2026. We’re open Wednesday-Saturday Noon-5pm.

Join us for the next Social Friday! This week we will be engaging with the current exhibition, Shux Shux and the Island, through the writing station, the touchable art pieces and more.
