Meet the very first of our guest artists, DANA JOHNSON‼️

Dana will be joining us onstage June 16th, opening night of Secret Saloon. We’ll ask Dana some questions about their art practice, their life, if they know any cool secrets, and then we’ll improvise a musical based on our convo 👹Sound good? Good. See ya there, babies ✨

Dana Johnson (she/he/they) is an interdisciplinary artist and naturalist, born and raised in the Okanagan valley. Their favorite mediums are acrylic paint, collage, papier-mâché, and garbage. Dana was one of the featured artists in "Waste Land: A Climate Anxiety Haunted House", which has since been demolished. You can check out their work by asking really nicely, or by purchasing the legendary board game "Rat Trash Party" (which she illustrated and co-designed with Alex Roberts).

Don't bother looking for Dana on social media, better to check in the garden or under a rock. If you want to buy their art, prints are available through as part of a series made to support their great effort to feed folks.

P.s. Dana is Indigenous and q***r and aren't hungry but they could eat.
