Introducing Project Browning.

A warm, layered home shaped by colour, texture, and quiet detail.

We are thrilled to share the first look at our transformation of an Edwardian triplex into a single-family home for our dear clients and their young family. The project involved a full gut renovation of the existing structure, along with a three-storey rear addition.

Over two years, we worked closely with our clients from initial concept through to completion, carefully shaping each space through bespoke joinery, custom furniture, and considered material selections throughout.

What emerged is a home full of character — rich in tone, tactile in finish, and grounded in thoughtful, highly considered detailing.

We’re incredibly grateful to our clients for their trust, collaboration, and energy throughout the process — this was a very special project for our studio, and we couldn’t be happier with the result.

And this is just the beginning. We’ll be sharing more from the project in the coming weeks, walking through each space in detail.

No window meant getting creative, so we opened the wall above the sink to borrow light from the sitting room next door. The oval opening with a splayed plaster border adds just the right amount of drama, and the way light floods through it has made it one of my favorite details in the whole house
