The only way that your mind will know anything new is if you teach it
With intention!
If you are going up into your mind for answers or information but only finding the same things that have always been there it’s because ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴍɪɴᴅ ᴏɴʟʏ ᴋɴᴏᴡꜱ ᴡʜᴀᴛ ɪᴛ ᴀʟʀᴇᴀᴅʏ ᴋɴᴏᴡꜱ!
It is up to you to teach your mind
To expand your mind
To give it the information that you want it to use
Your mind is the student 👩🏽‍🎓 and you are the teacher!
Teach your mind what you want it to know
Teach your mind how you want it to think
Otherwise your mind will only know what it already knows and your life and experiences will be limited as such

So much power
And so much opportunity for freedom and healing
Part of reclaiming who we truly are includes understanding the ways in which our life experiences have impacted the way we experience the world
Not just as individuals
But as a group
As a culture
And as a collective
This quote refers to trauma, but I often focus on anything that we have experienced that ultimately changed the trajectory and nature of our 𝕒𝕦𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕚𝕔 𝕖𝕩𝕡𝕣𝕖𝕤𝕤𝕚𝕠𝕟
Before we are given the opportunity to develop our authentic selves we are met with the projections of the the world
Pressing upon us who we are supposed to be
This is magnified with the many layers of your identity and the labels that come with each of those layers
We’re done with all of that now!
Done with being told who we are by the outside world
