Cybersecurity became a huge part of what I do after seeing how many businesses struggle with website attacks, malware, fake admins, spam injections, payment issues, and security problems they never expected to deal with.

A lot of business owners think these things only happen to large companies, but small and medium businesses are targeted every single day.

At ALMA WebPro, I work on web development, security, infrastructure, payment integrations, monitoring, and helping businesses build systems they can actually rely on.

Over time, I decided to build some internal tools of my own as well - including ALMA Guard, a WordPress security plugin I developed to help detect vulnerabilities, suspicious activity, malware risks, and other common website threats.

The plugin is now ready for launch, and I’ll be offering a free trial to businesses interested in testing it.

Still lots more coming.

A real WordPress security cleanup case from today.

This website was hijacked to display gambling/SEO spam on a specific page, while the rest of the site still appeared normal.

Behind the scenes, the cleanup uncovered:

✅ malicious PHP loader

✅ fake AMP markup

✅ fake Product/Merchant schema

✅ Google Search Console warnings

✅ PHP web shell/backdoor

✅ suspicious files in multiple locations

✅ attacker infrastructure used to serve spam content

The cleanup included removing the malware, deleting web shells, rotating passwords, replacing WordPress salts, clearing caches, requesting Google reindexing, starting Search Console validation, and submitting abuse reports against the attacker infrastructure.

A hacked website does not always look hacked.

Sometimes only one hidden page, Google, or search engines reveal the real problem.
