SUMMER ACTING WORKSHOPS FOR TEENS
W/ TIM PEREZ

ONYX STUDIO is offering a series of fun and inspiring one-week summer workshops for teens who aspire to become professional actors.

Tim has a Masters of Fine Art in acting From New York University and has taught young actors in many prestigious schools in the Lower Mainland, such as Place de Arts, Opus Academy and The Canadian Television and Film Institute as well as teaching privately at Onyx Studio.

Tim has also been a professional actor in New York, Los Angeles and Vancouver. He has over 55 TV/film credits and has acted in 8 Off-Broadway productions.

THE ART OF EVENT DESIGN - A Weekend Workshop!

This fun and creative hands-on workshop will give you some tools that you can use in becoming a more successful Event Designer or to tempt you into a new career!

You will master physical techniques like draping, prop and floral design and table-scaping, as well as understanding proposals, creative lighting, timelines, budgets and layout.

Working with award winning Event Designer
Gail Taylor... these skills, techniques and your own creativity will be put to use for real, with a live client interview and brief, that the class will then work together as a team and individually, to transform the studio into an amazing event.

A workbook will also be provided with valuable information and source material for you to keep, as well as images for your portfolio and a floral centerpiece.
