โจ Confidence is about trust. โจ
Trust in yourself.
Trust in your choices.
Trust built through daily practice ๐ซ
Today I want to pause and say thank you โ and share how deeply proud I am of Sarah for allowing her journey to be seen ๐
When Sarah began this work, she described feeling confusion, anxiety, and fear ๐
Changing anything in her life โ big or small โ felt overwhelming.
Thatโs where real confidence begins.
Not with clarity.
But with courage ๐ช
What changed wasnโt that fear disappeared.
It was that Sarah learned how to trust herself โ her body, her feelings, her inner wisdom โ and take small steps anyway ๐ฑ
She said something that still stays with me:
๐ฌ โBeing precedes becoming.โ
Thatโs confidence.
Not waiting until you feel ready.
Not needing certainty first.
But practicing the version of yourself youโre becoming โ one aligned choice at a time โจ
Over time, those tiny steps added up.
From feeling stuck and paralyzedโฆ
To actively engaging in the creation of her life ๐
Sarah, I am so proud of you ๐
You didnโt just build confidence โ you became someone who trusts herself. And that changes everything.
Tiny baby steps seriously move mountains ๐๏ธ๐ซ

A new year doesnโt need more pressure ๐ฎโ๐จ๐
Iโve taken a lot of masterclasses over the years โ and one with Vishen Lakhiani ๐ฑโจ really stayed with me.
He spoke about the difference between chasing peaks ๐
and quietly raising your baseline ๐งโโ๏ธ๐ฟ
Not more hustle ๐ฅ
Not constant intensity โก
But improving the default ๐ซ
โจ how you feel on an ordinary Tuesday
โจ how your nervous system lives in your body
โจ how you treat yourself when no oneโs watching ๐ค
That idea changed how I approach growth ๐ฑ
So this year, Iโm less interested in my highest moment โฐ๏ธ
and more committed to a steadier one ๐
Support over force ๐
Sustainable over impressive ๐ทโจ
Thatโs the energy Iโm bringing into 2026 ๐ฅ๐
Grounded. Human. Kind. ๐ซ

As this year comes to a close โจ๐ Iโm choosing to look back a little differently ๐ญ๐
Years ago, I had the chance to meet David Cooperrider one of the creators of Appreciative Inquiry ๐ฑ
I asked him a question that really mattered to me:
Whatโs the most important thing I could pass on to my kids? ๐๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ
I donโt remember his exact words, but the essence stayed with me.
๐ โIf more of us learned to look at the world with appreciative eyes, that would change everything.โ ๐
That idea took root in my heart ๐
Because so often, when a year ends, we look back through the eyes of lack ๐:
โ โI should be further along.โ
โ โI didnโt do enough.โ
โ โI wasted time.โ
So tonight ๐โจ Iโm practicing something different.
Iโm putting on my appreciative eyes ๐๐ซ
And through them, Iโm looking for:
๐ธ where I showed up โ even imperfectly
๐ฑ where I grew quietly, without applause
๐ค where I stayed when it wouldโve been easier to leave
๐ฅ where I chose kindness, courage, or presence
Appreciative eyes donโt pretend everything was easy ๐ญ
They donโt erase the hard moments.
They simply choose to notice what was alive ๐
And they refuse to let self-criticism be the loudest voice ๐๐ค
So before the year turns ๐ฏ๏ธ๐
Iโm placing a gentle hand on my heart ๐ and asking:
โจ What can I appreciate about myself and this year? โจ
๐ฌ If you feel like sharing:
What are your appreciative eyes seeing as you look back on this year? ๐๐ซ
(Big or small โ it all counts ๐)
Wishing you a New Year filled with more connection ๐ค๐
more softness ๐ท
more celebration ๐โจ
and more moments seen through appreciative eyes ๐๐ซ
Happy New Year ๐ฅ๐๐
