HOLIDAY COOKIE BOX 🍪 2022
The festive (and delicious) season is upon us.
Each box will include:
- 3 giant PANETTONE COOKIES (pictured): combination of pistachios, dark chocolate, rum soaked raisins, orange zest, lemon zest, and candied ginger. Dough is aged longer than my other cookies to really let those flavours come through. It screams holiday!
- 3 giant GINGER MOLASSES COOKIES
- 3 giant cookies of a SURPRISE FLAVOR
- AND an assortment of smaller cookies/treats

Testing out Ramen Chocolate Cookies 🍜 🍫 🍪
Inspired by the delicious ramen and .yvr are slammin out!
Brown butter, shoyu (soy sauce), pulverized nori (dried seaweed) incorporated in the dough with 70% Valrhona dark chocolate and coated w crunchy instant ramen. The flavours meld so well together and are a perfect blend of sweet and savoury without any one specific flavour overpowering the taste. Still working out the final kinks.

See previous post for more details! Pictured are my Black^3 Brownies I’ll be making. I combine black vinegar, black cocoa powder, and black pepper into these brownies to make an intriguing yet addictive flavor. You’ll be hooked once you try them!
Pick up will be Oct 30 . Just in time for Halloween!

A twist on my classic CCW (chocolate chip walnut cookie)...The green comes from the addition of Pandan! And I’ve topped it w coconut. Read the end to see how you can try them yourself!

Pandan is difficult to describe but it is like the vanilla of SE Asia but a bit more grassy and floral. Some pandan desserts are VERY pandan but here it’s more subtle and replaces vanilla. It gives a slight different taste than my regular CCW. I will admit I’d like to tinker a bit more in the future and keep adding more Pandan flavour but for now I’ll keep it the way it is.

I’ll be selling these for pick up evening of Friday March 4 in Chinatown. This time I’ll be donating ALL profits to (I won’t even keep the cost of ingredients). They support youth and low-income immigrant seniors in Chinatown & Downtown Eastside (https://www.yarrowsociety.ca).
