My latest track, ‘Hallelujah Baby is out in the world today, wherever you get your music.

It’s a song about grief, love, and hope, written a couple of years ago during a period of losses around me that left me reeling for a long moment, grappling with some big questions with no simple answers. The song’s narrator is trying to make sense out of a few of the senseless things that can happen in the world, straining at times to remember that there is always so much more good, though somehow that fact is so easily overshadowed.

The track features the haunting vocals of fellow singer-songwriter Mercy Walker, and some gorgeous string and clarinet arrangements by my dear friend (and now multi-award winning film composer), Caleb Chan. I played the guitars and drums, while Jonathan Anderson played bass and piano.

However loss has shown up in your life, you’re not alone, and I hope this song can help in some small way.
