We’re excited to partner with The Cultch to present UPU, an electrifying theatre experience bringing the voices of the Pacific Ocean to life. Curated by award-winning poet Grace Iwash*ta-Taylor and directed by Fasitua Amosa, this powerful work weaves poems from 23 Pacific writers across five decades and cultures. UPU will be at the Cultch from February 17 to 21.
Thanks to the Ronald S. Roadburg Foundation, complimentary tickets are available to Indigenous patrons with the code INDIGENOUS.
On February 20, UPU will host a free poetry workshop led by Miriama McDowell and Shadon Meredith. Open to all experience levels, the workshop offers space to explore Moana-centered philosophies and develop your poetic voice. Email [email protected] to register.
We’re looking forward to seeing you there!
