🎨 STUDENT WORK: Anatomy Workshop
Great work, everyone! These are some wonderful drawings from this weekend’s anatomy workshop.

Working from the live model, students explored the human figure using black and white Conté on mid-tone paper, developing a deeper understanding of anatomy, structure, light, and form. You all did an outstanding job, and it was a pleasure to see the progress made over the weekend.

Back in 2000, after I graduated from ECUAD, this was the very first class I taught. It’s funny how not much has changed since then. After all these years, I still love helping students better understand the skeletal and muscular structures of the human body and watching that knowledge transform the way they draw.
This weekend I’ll be working with a small group of just 8 students, drawing from 2 live models all weekend. Looking forward to another great weekend of learning, observation, and drawing together.
