This winged unicorn is from my past self to your present self: Inviting you to connect to your imagination and playfulness!! Amid our adulthood challenges and dreams, we can get lost in the deep woods of our mental analyses and survival struggles. I drew this unicorn 24 hours after my 13th birthday - one of the toughest years in my youth - growing up in a small conservative town on the East Coast. Thankfully, holding onto the magic helped me crawl out of the black hole when I was 14-15 and begin expressing my true self despite the oppression I felt in school, at home and in society. Drawing was one of my former zen and magic-inducing activities.. What helps you stay connected to your magic?
