I rarely work weekends and even more rarely long weekends. And I virtually NEVER speak publicly about my thoughts about clients.

Today I make all these exceptions. Meet my newest client.

He hired me today, on the Sunday of a long weekend. He is launching a new company and is looking for daily strategic support and step-by-step guidance to turn his vision into a thriving reality.

He has engaged my services for an hour a day with a commitment that he will invest 3 additional hours a day of purposeful and focused work to make this happen.

His name is Declan Wood. He is 8 years old. He will be starting 3rd Grade this September. And like all entrepreneurs who have gone before him, he is sure to have his fair share of failures.

But I have no doubt that with the focus, excitement, openness for learning and strategic direction he is showing already, one day he will be someone we all look to as an example of passion, perseverance and courageous leadership in business and in life.

I am honoured to be his business strategist and beyond grateful to be his mom!!!

Soaking in tonight’s super moon was a wonderful break from the density of every moment in every day right now.

A moment of awe was a gift.

A refreshing reminder for my soul that all of this has been here long before we were and will be here long after we survive and thrive after COVID-19.
