My expertise comes from more than ten years in the counselling field, cultivating a collaborative and eclectic therapeutic approach.I am especially knowledgeable in substance use, women's issues, and trauma, and have worked with many women and men to achieve their goals to begin living with self worth and self compassion as they develop their authentic lives. I work from a person-centred, collaborative and strength based approach, using trauma-informed approaches in combination with mindfulness based and body centred awareness. I believe the therapeutic journey should be a collaborative path, carved out by the individual while I hold the safe space for healing. This allows the individual to find their way back to their authentic self, and overcome the challenges that once stood in their way.
