Why you're not growing on Instagram? 😭😩
*Insert beautiful spa-retreat-like-bath to calm self*
Ok, so you might not like how accurate this is...
But...does this sound like you?
👉Half-heartedly likes and comments content, occasionally, not even daily.
👉When you go-ahead to post (that post you stressed out about like crazy), you don't bother engaging before you post.
Don't worry, we have all been there. I've been there.
We forget that social media is all about online social INTERACTION.
INTER-ACTION. Action between people.
Which means, if you're new and you want to be seen: You gotta do the grunt work first and REACH OUT FIRST.
Some actionable ways you can engage on the daily and WAY more strategically, include:
> Commenting on your bigger competitor's comments section
> Replying to your bigger competitor's followers when they can't
> Going down the list of your existing followers (don't forget about them!)
> Visiting your DMs and following up with anyone who's expressed interest in the past
> Continuing the convo over DM with someone who has engaged with you in the comments
> Hop on someone's LIVE and say Hello or even better, ask a relevant question
> Reacting to stories
To relieve the stress of engaging, remember that it can be about fun things, don't worry about using your elevator pitch until you've ensured someone is your ideal client!
Now don't be mean and share these tips with someone who needs to grow on Instagram 🤩

Is it hard for you to commit to a daily engagement routine?
Don’t worry I have been there before...
And I remember going through burst of energy at a time and burning through hours upon hours trying to engage as fast as I could.
❌Love this post!
❌Thanks for sharing this!
❌You look so beautiful!
❌[insert long row of emoji here]
Not only was this method exhausting (it just wasn’t getting great results), but it also wasn’t the best way to engage as nowadays anyone can see right through a “speed comment.”
What if all it took was 30 min a day? (Or less once you get the hang of it?!)
All of the tasks on the to do list above are super simple to do if you set some time apart every morning and focus on one at a time. After some time, even a matter of weeks, you’ll notice that your relationships and connections will start to grow. This method only works if you’re committed to building authentic relationships, not your vanity metrics.
Note: all of the tasks that require posting can be automated via a post scheduling tool. This is great because then all you have to do is show up on stories, comment meaningfully, and share tons of valuable information.
✨There is really no big secret here other than: if you engage others well engage with you back and if you have good content will be permanent followers and supporters of your brand.
This part about having good content is the most important. This is how your community will LOVE your brand. Before even starting a daily engagement routine you should just be confident in your content being good, otherwise your efforts will feel in vain.
I hope this makes you feel a little bit better if you’re someone who spends a ton of time trying to engage. You really only need a little time every day to see growth.
How long do you spend engaging every day on Instagram? 💌

☕ CAFE SPOTLIGHT | Palate Kitchen
This cafe is one of my favourites because it is with its two-story, cafe-brunch-spot concept.
And yes, brunch is delish.
A bit on their history,
🏛️ Built in 1921, this Georgian Revival Style heritage building was the special headquarters for one of our province's largest insurance and real estate firms, "Ceperly Rounsefell Co.", which was occupied by joint owners Henry Ceperley and Frances Rounsefell.
💰Rehabilitated in 2011, in conjunction with the famous Jameson House development, this site is nestled in the prestigious and desirable location now known as the Financial District of Downtown Vancouver.
🍳 Occupied by a diverse range of businesses over the years, Palate Kitchen is proud to be the new host of this stunning space, marking it as a new and extravagant brunch concept developed by Pallet Coffee Roasters.
Palate Kitchen is proud to provide an establishment that focuses on both excellent coffee as well as excellent cuisine.
Yum! Next time you're in the area, you NEED to stop by. Maybe for Sunday brunch this weekend?
We love the mint and real estate past, great minds! Were you surprised like us?
