We are excited to announce the release of a new version of our Android app today! 📍 This version now includes the standard play buttons that have been available on iOS for the past 2 years. Unfortunately, we haven't yet incorporated the map or story history features, but rest assured that new features are on the horizon.

I love road trips and driving. Before the price of gas went through the roof I didn't charge for mileage to go see clients anywhere in Nova Scotia, because the travel was, to me, a bonus.

This same love of road trips gave rise to Nik Edmiidz and I going into business together to develop and promote our hands-free; eyes on the road office-based, location-aware travel app, . We started at the beginning of the COVID pandemic and now have confirmed usage in 54 countries. Based on feedback from our early adopters Nik and have fine-tuned the app to way beyond what I'd ever imagined. And now it looks like there are other opportunities in the combination of integrated features they designed and built, it's no longer just your chatty travel companion with loads of local stories. And of course with both of my sons' interest and early adoption of AI, AutoWIKI now also uses AI to source and generate fascinating new location-based stories.

And I'm telling you all this because a Johannesburg mosquito woke me and I happily discovered that the power is back on. I truly don't know how South Africans put up with this loadshedding insanity and the corruption that caused the abject failure of their power utility company, Eskom.
