We don't believe in Black Friday. We believe that large-scale rampant consumerism isn’t something we should celebrate. But, as small businesses, we, like many others, are still struggling to turn profits and do benefit from these kinds of sales to keep the lights on. With inflation, an increase in shipping and gas prices, running a small business is very hard in the current economic climate.
Maybe instead of a day of urgency and overconsumption, it can be a day of conscious choice and support. A celebration of your favourite small businesses.
That said, we still understand if you do not want to participate in Black Friday. Support can come in so many different ways! Like, share, review, and spread the word.
