Mitch Cooper in the 399 car has continued this year in the Radicals series at Area 27 with the same speed and results he showed last year. For the June weekend Mitch qualified second behind Paul Buchmann, then he finished a close second in the first weekend race, recovered from an early spin to finish 9th in the sprint race, and moved up to 5th in the feature race. Along with this his three second place finishes in the May weekend this puts Mitch in second place in the championship, 4 points ahead of Chris Beith. Lots of time for things to happen - an interesting series right now.
