Outdoor galvanized steel kitchen with wood storage and just a few hidden integrations - designed by Edward Ozimek for a residential project in the Gulf Islands. The galvanizing is settling in very nicely after a few years outside. Congratulations Edward on your Western Living 25 award for this beautiful project!

The Plano handles are hand carved from solid bronze, and we’ve stayed that way (over, say, CNC) for every Plano we’ve ever made. This way opening the cabinet is a little moment where whoever does it is physically connected to all the energy and craftsmanship that goes into making a piece of furniture like this. Not everyone will know it by looking at them, but I believe the feeling is felt and that’s the most important thing when making a piece, is the feeling that it brings.
