A long-standing medical services company risked losing its location when their landlord unexpectedly listed the building for sale. Wanting to stay put, they engaged Crete Capital to secure financing and purchase the property.
The deal came with challenges — the building included an unrelated residential unit, which many commercial lenders wouldn’t finance.
Crete sourced multiple lending options and structured a solution that allowed the client to buy the entire property. The outcome: long-term stability for their practice and a new revenue stream from the residential rental.

After a busy calendar year for ‘24, we are already full steam ahead for 2025!
The Crete Capital team stayed true to their specialization of working alongside private operating companies in Canada with a focus on industrial users.
Since inception, Crete Capital has supported the growth of private companies through investment in commercial real estate and growth by acquisition. This year was no different as we leveraged our background and expertise to execute quality transactions for the industrial sector.
While our corporate finance engagements took us across the country from Vancouver Island to Prince Edward Island, our commercial mortgage business in 2024 was solely focused on BC. For 2025 we’re excited to expand our commercial real estate finance business to Alberta as an officially licensed brokerage.
