Join us for Info Week!

VCC’s information week is happening again April 20 – 24th .

We are offering the opportunity for applicants for the ASL & Deaf Studies certificate program to come and observe one of our classes in-person on April 21 2026:

• 8:30 – 10:20 - ASL

• 10:30 – 12:20 - Becoming an Ally

• 1:20 – 3:10 - ASL Lab

For domestic students, if you apply during Info Week then you are eligible for an application fee waiver and get entered into a draw for a chance to win a tuition credit!

The highly anticipated Deaf Deaf World is back for 2026!

When: Saturday June 6, 2026
Time: 10:00am – 2:00pm
Where: Vancouver Community College – Broadway Campus

This is a free family friendly event for everyone!

Please remember that this is a voice-off event. Participants are encouraged to communicate through signing, gesturing, or writing.

Changes are coming!

We are pleased to announce that we have updated our ASL & Deaf studies certificate program to better fit student and community needs.

The main difference is that this new program will go from 10-months to 8-months with added flexibility through part-time and evening options.

As a reminder, the admissions requirements for our Certificate program are SIGN 1010 & SIGN 1020. We will be offering both courses as a part of our Summer semester.
