Despite having over 100 million users sign up for Threads within a few days of launch, active users have dropped more than half a few weeks after. Mark Zuckerberg commented that it is a normal and anticipated situation. Users have expressed that Threads has really limited features compared to its rival Twitter (or X). It is expected that new features are to be added in the hope to draw users back.

Twitter is no longer called Twitter.

Earlier this week, Elon Musk announced that Twitter would be renamed to "X" and further rebranded. This has shocked quite a lot of people, many have reflected that Twitter's branding was one of the best work and it's extremely valuable. Despite the outrage, this transition is expected, as Elon stated when he first acquired the brand, he wanted to convert it into an "everything app" like China's WeChat. What's your thought on this "rebrand"?

The original 40 billion acquisition is a purchase of Twitter's existing users if Musk is planning to build X from the ground up. We should expect something completely different and perhaps changes out of the (Twitter) blue 🤭
