My wife, Jen as well as the Universe have worked very hard to help me “Survive the ICU.”
I was given the gift of a “Second Life and a Second Chance”, and therefore the CHOICE to create the new life that I am now living today.
In the early stages of my recovery after my severe Motorcycle accident, I had entered into a Conspiracy with denial and refused to accept that there was anything wrong with my brain or myself.
But as I continued to deny my problems, my problems only got worse.
I am very grateful for all the people and experiences that came into my life and helped me to accept my challenges.

It is by coming to grips with my problems and learning to accept them that I have been able to find some peace and feel a lot better about myself.

An Excerpt from my most recent book, "RETHINK, REDO, REWIRED".
The Light
"I looked around. I was surrounded by bright lights everywhere. I felt an extraordinary feeling of peace, comfort, and bliss.
Looking down, I saw myself swerving on my motorcycle to avoid the car. It was coming straight at me, and I couldn’t avoid it. There was a head-on collision, and I wouldn’t survive.
The car smashed into me, and suddenly here I was.
Where am I? Some kind of tunnel. Somewhere? Everywhere? Nowhere. It was all the same.
What’s all this around me?
Never-ending streams of light were everywhere, and orbs of light were floating all around. I had never seen this before, but I wasn’t scared. It was wonderful and very peaceful. Images of my life appeared right in front of me. I watched, remembered, and I understood. Everything that had happened in my life began to make sense.
Not just the accident, but also from the time when I was a child. It all was part of the plan for me for something bigger. Everything that had happened had prepared me for this day. It was all part of the same puzzle.
Now I get it, I thought. Then it all ended. I opened my eyes, and I was in the Neuro-Trauma Intensive Care Unit (ICU)."
"The time has come for all the players in modern medicine to be more open to learning from their patients and not to discourage them from pursuing alternative treatments as an avenue toward healing. It is time for us to rethink, redo, and rewire ourselves to harness the mind, the body, and the spirit as allies in healing. We can heal ourselves."
