This Nursing Week, we celebrate the nurses who make Providence Healthcare truly special with a few of their reflections on why they love what they do.

At Providence, what sets our nurses apart is the relationships they build with patients, residents, and families over time. To all our nurses: thank you for the compassion and dedication you bring every day.

"What makes working at the Cardinal Ambroziac Houses of Providence so special to me is the relationships we build with residents and families over time. Sometimes the most important part of my job is taking the time to sit with someone, listen to them, or make them smile. It can completely change their day. It’s what motivates me every day."

A better “fit” = a safer drive 🚘

Earlier this week at Providence Healthcare, drivers (and their co-pilots) stopped in for quick, hands-on safety check-ups—learning how small adjustments can make a big difference in comfort and control behind the wheel.

From seat positioning to steering wheel alignment, our teams helped people stay confident, independent, and safe on the road.

Thanks to everyone who came out, asked great questions, and took the time to “fit” their drive just right. 🧡
