Four Sweets Cookies

This past weekend quietly and completely closed a chapter of my life.

From the very first order to the very last, thank you. Thank you for trusting me with your birthdays, weddings, milestones, and all the moments in between. It was never just cake — it was your memories, your celebrations, your stories. I’ll never take that lightly.

Some of you started as customers and became friends. Some of you reminded me what it looks like to chase a dream, and told me I inspired you to do the same. That means more than you know.

As much as I poured my heart into this, I can see now that it wasn’t meant to be my final destination — but it was one incredible journey. One that taught me resilience, creativity, and what it really takes behind the scenes. The truth is, when you see someone offering custom work and asking for “not an arm and a leg,” just remember — there is so much more involved than meets the eye. The shopping, the prep, the baking, the supplies, the overhead, and the countless hours… all poured into something made just for you. Support the craft. Value the work.

I am so grateful I got to experience business ownership. Truly. But I also know, without a doubt, that I am exactly where I am meant to be now. In a beautiful school, in an incredible community, working with amazing students, and reconnecting with another passion of mine — education.

And maybe most importantly… I get more time with my kids.

Now, it’s time for a slower, simpler chapter. One filled with challenging young minds, campsites, road trips, and the kind of memories I’ve been craving to make with my favourite people.

Thank you for being part of this chapter. I’ll carry it with me always

To our incredible customers—thank you. Your support, loyalty, and trust in us over the years has meant everything. Being part of your special days was an honour we never took for granted.

After a lot of reflection, we’ve decided to close this chapter. Rising costs and the current economy just don’t make it sustainable anymore. This decision was hard, but it’s the right one.

While this chapter is ending, we’re excited for what’s ahead and deeply grateful for the community that carried us through the years.
