Our hearts are with everyone affected by the tragic shooting at this year's Salsa on St. Clair Festival.

What should have been a celebration of music, culture, family, and community became the scene of an unimaginable act of violence. We extend our deepest condolences to the families and friends of those who lost their lives, and we are thinking of everyone who was injured or traumatized by this heartbreaking event.

We also want to recognize the courage and professionalism of the first responders, medical teams, and volunteers who acted quickly under extremely difficult circumstances.

Toronto's strength has always been found in its communities. May we continue to stand together, support one another, and honour the resilience of everyone affected.

Yesterday, our Avante team took a well-deserved break to come together for our annual Summer BBQ.

In an organization where every day is focused on protecting our clients and supporting one another, it was a great opportunity to slow down, connect with colleagues, share a meal, and enjoy each other's company. Moments like these help strengthen the relationships that make our team so successful.
