There is something so special about the way the World Cup brings people together.

The cheering, the flags, the shared excitement, and the feeling of being part of something bigger all remind us that joy and connection are part of wellbeing too.

Seeing Adidas’ message, “You Got This,” also felt meaningful. In recovery, those words can land as a gentle reminder that hard moments do not have to be faced alone.

“You Got This,” can mean taking the next small step. Asking for help. Resting when you need to. Eating even when it feels hard. Letting community hold some of the weight with you.

At Connected Eating, we often talk about nourishment as more than food. It can also be community, celebration, laughter, belonging, and the moments that help us feel connected to each other.

Here’s to cheering together 💚⚽

What helps you feel encouraged when something feels hard?

The more you try to control something, the more it controls you.

This can show up with food, body checking, routines, exercise, or trying to get everything “just right.”

Healing often begins with noticing what feels rigid, making space for support, and taking one small step toward trust.

You do not have to loosen your grip all at once. Small moments of flexibility can still count 🌿
