✨ Stephanie Hodnett, Executive Director, Rotman Executive Education, University of Toronto
Stephanie oversees the design and delivery of Rotman’s executive development programs, including micro-credentials that match recently upskilled talent with employers. She also serves on the Board of Palette Skills, home of Upskill Canada, bridging Canada’s most innovative companies with the talent they need to thrive.
✨ Sonya Goldman, Senior Director, Employment, Workforce Development and Corporate Engagement, WoodGreen Community Services
Sonya leads equity-driven workforce initiatives that connect jobseekers, including newcomer women, with meaningful employment. With 15 years of experience spanning social services, employer engagement, and the tech sector, she is currently driving large-scale system transformations under Ontario’s Integrated Employment Services model.
✨ Moya MacKinnon, Senior Vice President, Strategic Partnerships and External Relations, Achēv
With over 30 years in employment, training, and settlement, Moya has spearheaded innovative programs at all levels of government. A former newcomer client herself, she now leads strategic and corporate partnerships at Achēv, shaping opportunities that advance workforce equity and newcomer integration across Canada.
✨ Salima Tejani, Senior Manager, Municipal Partnerships, WCG
Salima is recognized nationally for her leadership in refugee resettlement, newcomer inclusion, and systems change. In her role at WCG, she drives municipal and community partnerships that strengthen social cohesion, expand access to employment, and create more inclusive pathways for equity-deserving populations.
✨ Dayana Tellez, Senior Research and Evaluation Associate, Future Skills Centre
Dayana brings deep international and Canadian experience in skills research, financial inclusion, and migrant integration. At Future Skills Centre, she leads research on labor markets and training, ensuring evidence-based policies and programs drive women’s economic participation and support vulnerable and displaced populations.
💡 Together, these leaders will share transformative approaches to upskilling and reskilling such as community-driven digital literacy, microcredentials, and bridging programs, showing how immigrant women are reclaiming their economic power.
