For today's artist spotlight, we present the Newcastle born and bred, DJ and producer duo Port Manteau.

They have spent the past five years forging their iconic dark melodic House and Techno signature sound, with many hours invested locked away in the studio perfecting their craft and style. This has paid dividends with releases on labels: Under No Illusion, Criminal Hype, Fxtion Records, Swerve Digital and 10 Steps North, the latter instantly gaining momentum and focus from key industry heavyweight taste-makers such as Mixmag.

The duo cite John Digweed and Sasha as musical influences and fused with their knowledge of the breath-taking Spanish Techno Makina. The results are electrifying to say the least.

With their track, Quantum, they deliver sounds that bring the listener to new heights on the wings of sweeping ethereal pads, a deep groove, and impeccable attention to detail. We are delighted to have their unique sound to start the Nova II Compilation off with a bang.
