From practical tips and thoughtful reflection to power poses and meaningful discussions, our Learning & Connection Day brought more than 40 participants together for an engaging event on Self-Expression and Authenticity in the Workplace. The session was expertly led by Dianne Francavilla, former performer turned creative agency Account Manager, who shared her insights with a performer's flair; along with Venesse Lewis, an award-winning author, entrepreneur, founder of Niya’s Coily World, and Senior Policy Analyst with York Region who inspired the group with her personal story and practical advice.
The interactive session explored the importance of representation, building a positive mindset, and lots of opportunities to reflect, share and connect with others. Thank you again to our talented presenters for sharing your authentic selves, encouraging positive self-talk and reminding us that career paths are not always linear.
