Hello hello, high esteemers!

Some of you have messaged me to ask if I am okay. Yes, I am totally okay, and the wildfires have thankfully not hit my part of BC.

I am however, as so many of us are, taking some time to settle back into the new pace of the world as things start to open back up here in British Columbia. More on this later, as this deserves time and space to process.šŸ‘Œ

But what about High Esteem Coaching/The High Esteem Podcast (). Well, I'm still here for ya! I've cooked up two new podcasts over the past few weeks, the second of which was just released today!

Episode 11 is an important one. I've been doing a lot of thinking lately, and this one voices my clear stance on mixing business and politics/social issues (spoiler: I'm gonna do it), and some honest words as I try and figure out how to move forward as a better, more accountable human. This is the beginning of a journey, and I want you to know who I am and what I stand for. This might be the most important one I've made so far, and it can't/won't stop here.

Episode 12 is my very first coaching episode. This one is designed to help you believe in yourself, build confidence, and push forward during new, scary, and impossible seeming things. This one comes complete with a 3 page downloadable worksheet for you to fill out yourself. My gift to you to help you--wait for it-- hold yourself in HIGH ESTEEM!āš”ļøāļøšŸŒŸ

And now, what about you!? How ARE YOU ALL DOING? Don't know? Me neither. It's a strange world. But message me: I want to chat with you, get to know you, and hear more about what content you want to see.

Welcome to my Birthday episode!šŸŽ‰šŸ„³

I turned 32 on April 29, and on this slow and mellow pandemic birthday, I did a bit of reflecting about the lesson's I've learned on this journey called life.

And so, this episode was born, an ode to 20-something-Sarah from the wisdom of age 32. I have a lot to say to my past self, and perhaps you need to hear it too.

Join in for my Birthday reflections alongside career and life advice for those struggling to navigate the rough waters of early adulting.

"I just don't have the confidence to do that..."

We've all been there before: wanting to do something, but feeling so fearful and so completely self-doubting that we don't think it possible.

We hope that one day we just might have the confidence to go after our dreams, but until then, we keep ourselves small (after all, it's safer that way).

We look at others, knocking off their accomplishments one after another, and either think that they're much more talented than we are, or simply that they have a 'natural' confidence that you just weren't born with.

Well guess what, folks? You're not going to just 'find' confidence; it has to be built.

This means leaning into fear and discomfort, and letting yourself suck for a while so that you can give yourself a chance to grow.

It means trying new things, celebrating your successes, and reflecting on your progress to prove to yourself that you CAN do hard things.

If this resonates, tune into my newest episode of The High Esteem Podcast (E3), where we talk about why waiting on confidence is the worst thing you can do for your growth.

Hello hello, my High Esteem community!

It's me again, and right in time for the holidays!

And before you roll your eyes and yell ā€œOh, god, here it comes… another cheerful holiday post!ā€, I promise that I’m not here to spread holiday cheer… at least not in the traditional way!

I AM however here to acknowledge that the holidays can be hard, a pandemic holiday no less (what. in..the…WHAT..is going on!?), and that whatever you’re feeling… these feelings are valid, and you are not alonešŸ’—

Let’s be real here: many of us (at least in my part of the world) are in our winter cozies right now, heading towards our worst ever habits. Okay okay, perhaps some of us are pretty deep into them already [I see you…but seriously, not judging!😜].

And what happens when we head into our worst habits, during the most socially/personally/politically challenging times?

What happens is that we slip further and further off track. Perhaps we do things that we know are bad for us, but we keep doing them anyway. Perhaps emotionally we feel lower and lower, and then we beat ourselves up, more and more, for everything that we’re NOT doing to stay afloat. Perhaps we take it out on our friends and families, and watch ourselves set fire to our relationships.

…Sound familiar? I know it does. Trust me, I’ve been there too.

I hear you over there, the one yelling ā€œDamn, Sarah- stop calling me on my ishh. I just want to sit here in my pjs on my pile of unfolded laundry with my chips in peace!ā€

Well sorry-not-sorry, someone’s got to do it. Why? Because you deserve better than the way you’re treating yourself right now, and it’s time to make a change. I think you know this, too.

But first, friends, we need to believe that we can change, and trust ourselves and the process to let it happen. This is the hard part, and that’s why I’m here to help.

My BRAND NEW PODCAST- The High Esteem Podcast- is finally here to provide motivation, inspiration, and evidence of transformation, free for my High Esteem community!

It’s real, raw, and everything you need to inspire a life of confidence, self-trust, and purposeful living.
