With nearly two decades working at the intersection of climate, environment, energy, and quality of life, he’s advised everyone from governments and policymakers to homeowners and private industry on how to make smarter, more resilient decisions in a rapidly changing world.

He’s the mind behind foundational research on how climate change impacts property values, including the development of the original Climate Change Risk Index, now widely used in real estate valuation and risk mitigation. Chris also holds a Master’s in Strategic Foresight and Innovation from OCAD University and serves in advisory and research roles with organizations like TRREB, CREA, the Intact Centre on Climate Adaptation, and OCAD’s Strategic Innovation Lab.

Beyond the credentials, what really sets Chris apart is his deep belief in trust-based relationships and delivering real, practical value to clients—whether that’s around high-performance buildings, energy efficiency, climate resilience, or making confident decisions about where and how to invest.
