I've always had a love of the hand made, and I am constantly searching for new skills to learn and add to my repertoire. Whether its painting, knitting, dyeing, felting or sewing, I love to dive in head first. I am an autodidact (self-taught) in most of my skills, which allows me to really develop my own unique style. I know I've been pretty quiet for a while, but that's because I've been super busy planning my giant vacation to Japan! I landed a few days ago, and you better believe I got down and dirty in some crafts right away! Today was learning to throw pottery on a wheel, and I think I did pretty great for a first time! More info below!

Tried my hand at throwing on a wheel today! It was both harder and easier than expected. I made four pieces, and in about two weeks I'll be glazing them! Big shout out to the great teachers at who were patient and super awesome!
