Allama Muhammad Iqbal (1877–1938) was a philosopher and poet whose works continue to inspire people across cultures. His message of Khudi (in Urdu, meaning selfhood) is about unlocking human potential, embracing dignity, and shaping one’s destiny. Much like Rumi or Emerson, his words remind us that true greatness begins within.

Iqbal reminds us that true change begins within. When we strengthen our character, sharpen our abilities, and elevate our moral courage, we unlock the power to influence not just our own lives but the destiny of communities and nations.

Change is not about waiting for the world to shift in our favor. It is about refusing to see ourselves as powerless, developing our talents, faith, and willpower to their fullest, and aligning our goals with values that uplift humanity.

In today’s world of uncertainty, this verse reminds us that each of us holds the potential to shape the future. The path to justice, equality, and progress starts with the strength of selfhood. When individuals rise, societies rise.

Let us nurture resilience, integrity, and vision. Let us become strong enough that our collective desires echo as destiny. Let us be the change that reshapes the future.
