Diabetes Longevity Study

The Diabetes Longevity Study will be presenting 3 topics (confocal corneal microscopy, comparison of DM management aspects in US and Canadian cohorts, and renal function in older adults with longstanding T1DM) at the upcoming ADA conference in New Orleans. Stay tuned for more info.

The second phase of our study is in full swing and we're making good progress towards achieving our goals. So far, 54 participants have been seen for in depth examinations by our superb and hard working team.

Diabetes Longevity Discovering Factors for Success after 50 Years of Type 1 Diabetes

It's been a busy few weeks, scheduling and conducting the patient clinic visits to our facility. Over 50 participants with T1DM and more than 30 non-diabetic volunteers have signed up for the second phase of DLS! At the same time, we are still accepting participants for our questionnaire phase.
