Silk ties are transformed into headbands, wrist cuffs/bun wraps or deconstructed into necklaces and earrings. After losing my job in 2012 I needed to find a new purpose to my days. With lots of time and a love of sewing I set out to find something different to make for my grandchildren. That is how this adventure started and now I'm in the Arts Market!!

My newest product - Pixie Hats for Adults and Teens! Made from upcycled Wool, lined with Sherpa and Faux Fur to frame the face! I embroidered the snowflake on using beads I had removed from a vintage shawl. They are super warm and super fun to wear. Many thanks to Julie for the great photo shoot! You can find them in my shop here: sewitwasbyjudy.etsy.com

After several customers bought my baby bibs for their dogs I decided to make some dog/cat bandanas. Isn't this a great pic my customer sent of Asher intently watching the Raptors game. He is right into it!!
You can check out the bandanas here: https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/713588331/toronto-raptors-dog-bandana-slide-over?ref=shop_home_active_23
