Cuteness taken to a whole new level!
Meet the ever so tiny but fierce little Miss Solar. Our rescue received a call from the location of the new battery plant. A cat and kitten were seen on the job site taking shelter under a construction dumpster. One of the workers took pity on the felines and began sharing their lunch each day prior to contacting Animal Aide. Ashley and Dave came up with a plan to rescue the duo. On the very first day, we received the call that Solar had been caught in our live trap. She arrived to the shelter and thankfully just in time. This poor wee bean had a major injury to her lower lip, that required immediate attention. 59 days later and this adorable sweetheart is now available for adoption. Solar is 17 weeks old and has been spayed, vaccinated, treated with pest prevention and her lip is now completely healed. She would do best in a home that will shower her with love, attention and keep her safe indoors for the rest of her days. Solar’s mom has found her furever home with the worker that was watching over them. If you are interested in meeting Solar, she is currently at the St. Pet Valu St Thomas. The adoption fee is $250.

My dad did everything he could to provide me with the very best life, until sadly my dad had no choice but to put his mental health first. He did the what was most difficult for himself but what was best for me and gave me up to Animal Aide. I am currently on C/D Stress diet, as I am a senior male feline. I take a little bit of time to warm up to new people, but when I do, I am a complete love bug. I am also front declawed. My name is Morgan. I have thankfully been in the care of Animal Aide now for the past 8 months. I arrived into care along with 3 others (Matilda, Millicent, and Maya). We were on rural property struggling to survive the elements and stay safe from predators. The property owners were seniors and finding it very difficult to feed us, but for the record... we never went hungry. Every morning and night, we had food put out for us and shelters to sleep in. The property owners adult son knew that this was not a sustainable situation as his parents agreed, and he reached out to Animal Aide. We all arrived into rescue terrified, but we were together and comforted by the shelter volunteers. We all have received vaccinations and pest prevention and have been spayed. Every day, we have a warm and safe place to rest and an endless supply of healthy eats. I enjoy stretching out in front of a window when the sun is shining. I also enjoy gentle pets and someone telling me how special and loved I am. I would do best in a calm home that would allow me the time to settle in. I would love for you to stop by and see if I am the purrfect feline for you.
