The client wanted a train-track scene with two trains crossing — but in reality, that shot is almost impossible to capture. Coordinating two trains at the same time isn’t in our control, and legally, we couldn’t stay on the tracks once a train passed.

So we approached it differently.

We captured the location and base plate, then transformed the lighting to match the exact time and mood we wanted (the original day was fully cloudy). From there, we introduced the trains in a still reference stage first — making sure scale, perspective, and realism were approved before moving forward.

Once locked, we moved into animation.

Bringing this to life wasn’t a one-step process — it took multiple iterations and video passes to get the motion, timing, and interaction right. After refining each detail, the final shot came together exactly as envisioned.

This is where technology doesn’t replace production — it extends what’s physically possible.
