Our members range in age, occupation, and skill level, but our love for music brings us together. The Toronto Community Orchestra is a non-auditioned ensemble located in the heart of Central Toronto under the Artistic Direction of Leonidas (Louis) Varahidis. With a 45 year history of performances and service to Toronto we welcome all levels of musicians who are looking for an orchestral home. Our
repertoire is primarily classical with occasional journeys into more contemporary work. Our season is made up of two terms, from September to December and January to May. At the end of each term we perform at retirement residences in and around Toronto, and finish with a final concert for the community. Having established a partnership with Eastminster United Church, we are pleased to be able to rehearse and perform in their beautiful sanctuary. Members of the orchestra are invited to perform as soloists or in chamber groups during Sunday services or during their Friday evening Out of the Cold program. OUR NEXT PUBLIC PERFORMANCE:
