You’ll shape ideas into systems, contribute meaningfully to every stage, and maintain an uncompromising standard of excellence under pressure.

This is a role for someone ready to take ownership of a connected process and strengthen their voice, strategically and creatively.

This position is full-time, salaried, and in-studio in Toronto. Remote, freelance, or hybrid work is not an option. Branding design expertise is required.

The art of collaboration

The beauty of a great collaboration is what you don’t see. Behind it is the trust and partnership has with , a long-time client collaborator from the very start. It’s the creative freedom that enables the artwork of to sing, and the support that empowers startups like to do what they do best. This alchemy reflects our shared aspiration for each other’s success. It’s a conversation of elements converging into a singular expression of beauty—and a testament to the dedication of a group to make something extra from the ordinary.

As part of our collaboration with and We designed two shirts as part of the “Parallel Horizons” collection. The first design features the Balisong (butterfly) knife. On first glance you’ll notice the ‘A’ from Alliance and ‘S’ from Sovereign, representing our joint venture. Digging deeper, the handles of the knife are a combination of bamboo with the ends fabricated with a foreign influence, capturing the dual identity experience of Filipinos abroad. The blade of the knife is also adorned with flowers to balance the edge of our deep cuts with the temperance of grace.

The second design takes a second look at this bloodsport and our own personal conflicts of perspective. We vs. the other, you vs. me, me vs. me. Is this a battle or a choreographed dance. If you look carefully the blades were drawn backwards on the legs symbolizing that the harm we intend for others often ends up hurting us the most.

The first part of this collaboration will be a retail experience at the Sovereign State studio on Sept 2. Limited release ‘parallel horizons’ Alliance x Sovereign State clothing collaboration will drop. The event will be from 12pm to 7pm.

To finish the collaboration there will be a Kamayan style food experience at BB’s on Sept 3rd. It’s our chance to come together to share stories, experiences and food in a way that reminds us of home.
